SL Camp 08...

I guess Karen pretty much said most of the things i had to say about SL camp in her blog. go check it out. But there jwere a few things she missed out... and i would like to state them!

1. Not only did duckson said "this land is for UFOs to land on.there you see that tree over there has such a weird shape like a UFO."
...after that he also said...

"Hey Karen! You know why that car is parked there?" - Ducks
"Er... no. Why?" - Karen
"It's the people waiting for the UFO to land." -Ducks

2. While we were clearing up, i was making this *weah weah* sound over the walkie. And Stanley got so pissed off that he thought duckson was the one making the noise. (you can see his reputation XD)

3. Duckson hid Green Group (D-24)'s flag in Vivo City in the bushes because it was 'lying around'. Then some cleaner just took the flag up and broke it into half right infront of the whole group's eyes.

4.Yes i admit. I was holding back my crap while i was doing PT with you guys on the third day.

5. Let me Emphasize on this... ARDY LITERALLY SLEPT WHILE SCRAPING OFF THE WAX. We was in a curled up position, with both his hands on the floor. Then when stanley and i called out for him, we initially thought he was ignoring us... until we went up to him.

6. CONGRATULATIONS JESSICA! For not screaming during the night trail!

7. Oh yeah, Ardy, Stanley and i hitchhiked this car while we were trekking to the Night Trail site at Kranji. WEEEEEE.

8. Guan Yuan turned around halfway during the Night Trail and scared the crap out of Mattheus who thought he saw a floating lightstick hovering towards him.

Hmm... Guess theres still alot to say. But just too much. Anyway... Duckson is a nice guy, (seriously) so dont get a bad impression that hes a bad guy. Though he can be irritating at sooome times =D

BUT SATISFIED.

I was too tired to blog yesterday and i lost 2 kilos in the camp. i think. haha, when i stepped home my dad was like "aiyo ni shou dao xiang gou yi yang" or translated in english "you're as skinny as a dog." we literally worked for almost 24hours straight. Im not exaggerating. slept at 0200hrs on Friday morning, woke up at 0500hrs. Then we worked allll the way till 0350 saturday morning. WOOTs.

But i guess this camp was much much much more successful than the previous Nov Camp. Thank you all of OC [Orange Committee] for making this a whole lot success, all the times we worked together was really priceless. thank you! And Karen! you're really a remarkable C-Squared[Camp Chief]. You really think through everything and cope with 'shit' well. LOL. Really!

To the campers.... I APOLOGIZE FOR BLIND EAGLE. Ok ok i know it was stupid and boring. Lol. But anyway, you guys have been a great enthusiastic and dynamic bunch! I truly enjoyed company with you guys! Hope i didn't kill you in PT... haha!

The Reanimation : Part I

FOREWORD: This is just a short story I cooked up while studying for my chinese Os. I know. i should be doing chinese but i gotta RELAX man. It's a recount of this Roysten Philmore dude(some random guy i created) Okay, anyway, enjoy!

I was one of the immunes. Many people would probably feel that it would be a privilege to be like me – to remain human while everyone else was bleeding to death and reanimating into a whole new being. But sometimes, I really wish I was part of the living dead. The horror and the trauma I had to go through was unimaginable, like nothing on earth. I am sure the rest of the immunes would probably feel like that at some point of their desperate struggle to outwit, outlive and resist the living dead.

I can say apart from ground zero, the infection in the parking lot can be considered catastrophic. When the warning was blared through the audio systems of the mall, everyone panicked and rushed to their cars, in hopes of escaping the infection. The army proved futile in their attempts to quarantine the mall as the situation was beyond control. Even the soldiers themselves succumbed to the virus. Many of the people who fled to their cars were already infected and either collapsed on their way or passed out halfway in their car. Then, they just bled, from every opening of their body. Their mouths, their eyes, their ears, even their anuses. It is a wonder how the super virus had such an immediate effect on its host. I was part of the crowd, attempting to escape from the chaos. But I was overwhelmed by the stampeding panic-stricken people. I remembered a barrage of shoes battering my face and every part of my body before I went out cold.

It had probably been hours before I woke up to the continuous blare car honks. My mind was still in a blur and I could hardly think straight. I struggled to get up on my feet and realised I suffered rather painful bruises all over my body and my face was especially battered and swollen. Then as I stood unsteadily, I was awakened to the carnage that surrounded me. Bodies were littered everywhere, cars were overturned and crashed. Some who passed out while in their cars slammed head first onto the car honk and stayed at that position, lifelessly. The dim eerie lightings of the parking lot revealed the crimson pools that filled the floor.

Suddenly, something caught the corner of my eye. Something moving in the wreck. I turned around and saw someone struggling to get on his feet and uttering some unintelligible noises. The first thing that went into my mind wasn’t a reanimating corpse. Instead, I thought he was just another survivor like me. Instinctively, I rushed forward to help the man but realised something was terribly wrong when he turned and stared at me. His face was paler than any ordinary human, his bloodshot eyes suspended lifelessly in his eye sockets and I could see bloodstains everywhere. On his cheeks, on his clothes, his ears, everywhere. He raised his mangled hand out toward me and moaned. That was my very first encounter with the living dead and that moan still echoes in my head. It was just the start of my nightmare. All of a sudden, I started hearing banging noises from behind me. I turned around and stared into a stalling SUV and was greeted with a spine chilling sight. Children with the same lifeless expressions were slamming their little fists on the backseat windows, smearing their bloodstained handprints on the glass. It seemed as if they were trying to reach out for me. Then, many other things started moving in the parking lot. And making noises.

Okay hey everybody! i'm finally back and blog KICKIN' n SCREAMIN'!!!

Been through lots of things. created a mascot. fell ill. enjoyed. fell ill. and stuff like that haha.

Oh firstly, i know it's kinda late to say. but i've officially stepped down as SPL of dragonscouts and stepped up to ventures. Ah... a great work load off my shoulders but then feel rather... disappointed at the same time. Hmm but i think venturing will bring more adventure to my life!

And what a great way to start off the concert. we were seated already, but one person suggested to go to the loo. so we went. when we rushed back to the concert hall, the door slammed shut right in our faces. (literally) and the prefects barred us from the first piece performed by band. Still remember that Sneer Joon Guan gave us.

Well, today's the day, the last day of 07. I haven't really blogged for quite a while, so i guess i'll just spend today, 31st of December 2007, to publish my last post of year 2007. Quite a lot of things happened in the course of this month. Hmm, i wonder where should i start?

Oh yes, firstly, the day where came back from Mt. Kinabalu. The climb was an experience... the food was delicious, the shoes and merchandises in the city were ridiculously cheap and friggin worth the money, oh god i finally got my high cuts there. But just haven't got any time to draw on them. I'll just procrastinate till march, then june, then sept yada yada. Procrastinators Unite! Later.

Then i was forced to mug. Well, not exactly forced but i realized... that i gotta mug, or im doomed. It's... a family thing. Moving on.

The Malaysia Trip. Whee. it was ok i guess. (Betcha heard this phrase alot of times. in blogs. Msn. and stuff.) Bought threadless look alike shirts at (again) ridiculously cheap prices.

THEN. RECRUITMENT! My next challenge. It's going quite well i suppose. (I hope) Hmm coming up on 4th of Jan... and i should think that Dragon Scouts is prepared for this. I hope my spokesman are too. And monkey bridge.

Ahhh enough facts. The year is ending. i'm here infront of the computer, typing, blogging. As a year phases through my face. The saying goes, Time waits for no man(and/or woman). True, very true.

I suppose this year can be classified as the most eventful year of my 15.5 years on earth. Being in Year 3 is really a challenge, i swear (warning for ya'll year2s of 07) It's not as easy as it seems, oh wait, it doesn't even SEEM easy.

Being SPL of DragonScouts and Vice-President of the Students Leader's Council, i really have two portfolios (filled with bricksss) glued to my hands. Haha pardon the corny metaphor. But then again. it's weird, i find it... fun. challenging, though sometimes it can really be REALLY stressful. haha.

My New Years resolution... Well, i just guess i wanna get into a good JC (NJC?) i hope. 10 points for mid year, 9 for prelims and 8 for Os. I really HOPE SO.

Well, now enough talk about myself. I'll like to spend this time to THANK THE WORLD. For those people who helped and guided me out throughout the year. ok here it goessss!

Hey guys, it's me again, in the flash, blogging. Ugh yesterday's Mt. K training was okay, but AFTER that, i voluntarily went to do some weight lifting and stuff in the gym while the canoeists were runnning. wheee. And oh goddamn it now i got lactic acid ravaging my muscles and limbs.

Hey guys, call me 'jia ba bo tai ji' or 'chi bao mei shi zhou' or just in layman's term, 'BO LIAO.' I've noticed a trend in many blogs i skimmed through, as a matter of fact, even the in friendster and other social communities... and yep you've guessed it.

THEY ALL HATE BACKSTABBERS.

Yes, yes yes i know backstabbers suck, they should be banished to the deepest darkest abyss of hell blah blah blah yada yada... but er.... why specifically highlight them? I'm not saying there's anything wrong hating them, but of all things... why is everyone hating backstabbers? It's like three consecutive blogs i skimmed through all put backstabbers under hatelist.

I mean like, there are plenty lots of things to hate too... like er... global warming... poachers... terrorists... erm... violence... war.... and stuff! you name it! It's not like backstabbers own the whole damn world. So....

Last day of School - Blessing or...

Yeah, the last week of school. Actually the last day of school (officially) was yesterday. typically, i would be like booya, school's out. Yeah but that was of the carefree life of sec1 and 2. It's different now. Guess I can start singing 'it's a whole new world' from disney.

I calculated in my organizer. With all the remedial lessons, scouts, sl stuff and that trip to vietnam... i'll be left with 29 days not going to school. Note, not going to school only. Sigh, it's gonna 2 tough months. And with my results... i doubt it'll be a holiday

Finish The Fight

Oh yessssss exams all over! I finished the fight!! haha weeks of grueling mugging. and yeah. it's over. Hahahahahahaha.

And i just started playing Halo3 Ya'll. Ok, i didn't really finish the fight but i finished like... four or five levels? HAHA. And the multiplayer was just utterly awesome. Well, it's my first time playing halo anyways. Never really played halo1 and 2. So, yeah, it's a something TOTALLY entirely new for me. Well, i think i prefer the abirter to master chief. Hes, or it, is much cooler. =P. And who ever knew that melee attacks dealt more damage than high velocity bullets? BUT WHO GIVES A DAMN MAN. IT KICKS ASS THAT'S ALL THAT MATTERS.

And right now im Really pissed. Bloody played the stage 'tyragro' or something in aliens versus predator for 2 bloooody hours and still couldn't complete it. The only piece of advice i got at the start of the game was : "Beware, Marine. Tyragro was once infested with xenomoprhs. You better watch your back." oh thank you, director. one thing i hate about aliens is their infamous acid blood. Sheesh, you kill em and their blood vaporizes you. uuugghhhphpkkkt. ssssss. you die.

Yes, haha im exceptionally happy today. Yes. I avenged my soul, finally! I nailed em effing bastards in A Math TODAY YA'LL. Okay well, maybe not really the 'nailed em real bad' situation but rather the 'nailed em so-so bad' situation. Thank you, carelessness. Bah but i'll probably get a decent 60? hmm..? Well, yeah i know, itssnotssassgoods as A1 but well, beats 27 big time. or was it 37, does it really matter though? haha. People judge a person by their ability to improve, the saying goes. Yeah well, 30 marks alot even though im still lagging a little. I sound so philosiphical.

Firstly, call me a hypocrite. I think it's stupid to waste your time blogging during exams
But here i am, in the flash. And i'm not at all pleased with today's test.

Yes, amazing how someone can be murdered just by mere intergers, unkowns, crap shit stuff. SERIOUSLY, there was this voice in my head telling me to jump down the school, but i resisted. Haha, i make it sound so dramatic.

All i can say is that i totally fucked up my whole E Math paper 2. As if screwing up in the math knowledge wasn't good enough. during the geography exam, GEOGRAPHY EXAM, (that's like 2-3 hours after math?) I looked under the table and. saw. it. Questions 5 to 6. Emath paper 2. Under my table. Lying there. Laughing at me. Fucking me. Un-passed up.

All i did, was to ccrrush it. Crush it real bad. What does god want from me man. I'm already dead man, and you still wanna piss on my dead body? What the hell? Ah crap, i uncrushed passed that little shit up to the teacher afterward and she said she could try to help me appeal, but she highly doubt it'll work. I highly doubt it'll work too.

Safra AVventura

Hey guys, Oh god Yeah, the photos of the safra AVentura race on 9th sept are out! And as promised, i will blog it! Really want to thank Mr. Goh for all the beautiful shots he took with his camera! Just a brief intro to this race - it's an event which involves biking, running, swimming, navigating, climbing and stuff yeah. It was a REAL good experience. Any outdoor junkies should join this race.

First off, let's introduce the participants of the race...

Linken and me! And no, we're not in an affectionate relation.

So the race started off at 7.30, Tampines Safra. Mr. Goh only got the shots of us in the mid and end of the race as he couldn possibly lug his gigantic camera all through the race -.-. Heres one of the few photos he took when we were stuck in a bottle neck.. Sheesh.. Goddamned wasted 2 hours there. But we bonded with each other! Haha.

And so the four of us waited enthusiastically for our equipment.

AND FINALLY GOT INTO THE WATER. WOOTS.

After crossing the river, we got back onto our bikes and continued cycling. Oh god, i swam with one cramped leg throughout the whole river, bet you have never tried that before. Woooo... it sure was... exhaustive. From then on, Mr Goh couldn't follow us any further so we continued on our own.

SAAADDLY, on the way, the girls team were forced to stopped as fengying didn't feel veerry well. poor poor feng ying... you got to take care of yoursef, yeah?

Okay, so linken and me proceeded on and i just have to say I WASN 'T AT ALL PLEASED WITH THE NAVIGATION/ORIENTATION TEST THING. Crap, it was an utter screw up and i don't wish to talk about it. I'm sure i got MY bearing correect... and then we went...

ROCKCLIMBING!

Linken was my belayer. He was such a good belayer. =]

and obviously, i was the climber! i scuttled up to the 5m mark in mere seconds. hahaha. I'm so narcissictic. I call this one, 'The Leap of Faith'

Finally! The Reaching of the finishing line! Oh god it was just so euphoric.

AND YES. RELISHING OUR HARDWORK.

And the four of us reunited again as one big happy family! Yay!

Hello everybody,yk here. Yes, i've succumbed to it. I'm a BLOGGER Ya'll! After all the months of hesitation and peer pressure, i just HAD to do it. IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT GUYS! (*with all due respect =])

Okay, first, let me lay down some vital concepts before i start my journey posting and tagging my life or whatever stuff you guys have been doing for the past year, years, months. THIS IS NOT, i repeat, IS NOT AN EMO BLOG. OKAY? i hate emo blogs. Thank you. And please... if you want to spam, go eat your own hat okay?

Let's start with a brief intro on my blog. Okay, you'll probably be like.. 'Hey... like what the nila f*** is this blog about?!?!' But noooooo it's not nila f*** or hell or whatever. Theres more to it than meets the eye... It all started (my enlightenment) when i was playing the classic game of Half-Life...

When you enter the game, there would be this chapter called 'Anomalous Materials'. You'll be this dude called Gordon Freeman and he specializes in handling these... wierd, alien stuff. BUT, everything goes awry during and experiment and aliens start teleporting to earth. It was then when i had that enlightenment, like the buddist dude under the tree...

'ANOMALOUS MATERIALS'... Mysterious... Bizzare... Unknown... JUST LIKE ME. HAHA. And i immediately snapped those shots of me with my NEW PHONE (which i will be coming to later on) Z610i, and edited it in adobe. And... ANOMALOUS MATERIALS WAS BORN! you can call it aberrantlynormal if ya wanna too.

OKAY AND WHAT A GOOD WAY TO START MY FIRST POST WITH A NEW PHOOONNNEEE. Z610i is just SO COOL. The way the little twirly lights dance about the clamshell seems so... ethereal. Yes. It's aesthetically superior to ALL other phones! MUAHAHHA! but sadly, it's camera functions doesn't seem that magnificent compared to my moto.. But hey wth, it still rocks. (dont ask me why my picture is in landscape.)

Actually, i would have still been using my moto... if not for the fact that i know nuts about waterproofing phones when swimming -.-.......... Well, maybe it's a blessing in disguise... or whatever, but i feel so irresponsible for screwing up my moto... okay let's not phase into emo mode, shall we?

Ah well, i've come to the end of my very first post! It shall be remembered as a significant benchmark in my life forever...
